  1. Hello, my name is Shirley Higgins Larimer. I just wanted you to know how reading your blog has helped me. I have never lost my faith, and with the help of god, family and friends I go through the motions of dealing with a new normal each and every day. Sometimes I find myself screaming at god to give her back, even when I know that’s not going to happen. I know how silly that is but it really does make me feel better. And who better to scream at but God? Because he will still love me when I get past my little fit. Reading your blog with the scriptures that have helped you, in return are helpful to me.     I randomly found your blog and haven’t been able to stop reading. I’m not a mom, I haven’t experienced the loss you and your family has, but my heart sincerely aches for you. I’m laying in bed, reading as quickly as I can, knowing I should be sleeping, but instead I’m sobbing and praying for you and your beautiful, humble family. I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Dalton sounds like an incredible young man, who continues to make an impact on this world. Your faith, strength, humility, vulnerability and voice are amazing and inspiring and heartbreaking all at the same time. I’m praying so fiercely for you and your family. I pray that you are all able to find rest and peace and joy. That your new blessing brings you joy and supreme love. That you are able to feel both the love and the more difficult feelings she may bring. I pray for your family to have a long, beautiful and blessed life. That you’re all able to laugh joyfully and live each day for Dalton. That you’re able to cling stronger to the Lord every day.
